You know that Devi, pictured above, is a lawyer because of her face tattoos and face paint. I decided that the lawyers of Korsevei had these markings on a whim, that they had a ritual of putting their game face on.  (They do this on some other of the planets in the V.C.C. in different ways.)

It still amuses me. Which is sometimes half the point.
