Joey in the field

I, along with a few other cartoonists, had the wonderful opportunity to get an up close look at the star puppet from War Horse which is showing at the Keller Auditorium in Portland through March 3rd. We also got a chance to talk to the puppeteers and hear them talk of how they prepared for the role and their experiences as a three man horse. The illusion they created of an actual horse still boggles my mind.
